I am a conservation photographer, based in Birmingham, Alabama, specializing in wildlife and macro photography. I aspire to portray the inherently magical qualities of nature through my artwork. All subjects are photographed in their natural environment. No insect or animal is ever captured or harmed, nor do I interfere with or alter their environment or behavior. I employ the use of various photographic techniques to give my work an artistic quality, and make only minimal adjustments in post-processing. It is my hope that my artwork will inspire others to look for the beauty in their everyday surroundings, and implement personal practices that will help protect and preserve our beautiful world.
